Washing liquid, olive oil, water, and yellow ink, in a plastic beaker, shaken but not stirred. Shot from above, lit by the modelling lamps of my Interfit flash heads.
After taking Bubbles Macro III I added a little ink into the mix, the flash over exposed the shot but I like the high key effect.
Taken with extension tubes and a Tamron 90mm macro lens, lighting from an off camera flash. See more Bubbles.
Similar to Oil Bubbles I. Created with a mixture of cooking oil, sugar (which I find helps to stabilize the bubbles) and washing up liquid . All mixed up in a coloured beaker and lit from below and the sides.
Going through the archives. See also Bubbles and Ice 01 from a while ago.
Washing up liquid in a beaker lit from below.
This one taken using the full set of Kenko extension tubes stacked together with my Tamron 90mm macro. Tiny numbers printed on the side of a washing up liquid bottle.
Messing around with ice cubes, cooking oil and washing up liquid. All placed in an orange plastic cup and lit from below.
A big thanks to everyone who nominated me for the Photoblogies 2007, I’m up for Best Abstract Photography.
